Description Discount Power is looking for an individual to lead the company’s indirect sales channels including but not limited to door to door, telemarketing and web.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop and manage the mass market indirect sales organization for Discount Power. • Oversee channel partner lifecycle, from prospecting, to on-boarding to ongoing day to day management of the channel partners. • Manage commission programs for channel partners. • Work hand in hand with our quality control and regulatory team on compliance matters. • Responsible for channel sales reporting with an analytical approach including by channel partner, market segment, customer/performance metrics and ROI by campaign. • Be a key contributor to company’s strategic plans. Gather market research and competitive intelligence. Ensure products and campaigns are responsive to competitive forces and that margins are maximized. • Work cross functionally to develop indirect sales systems and operations.
Skills Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint). Strong written/oral communication skills with the ability to share/explain/defend concepts across functional teams and management levels. Strong attention to details. Excellent analytical skills.
Notes Bachelor degree in relevant field. Minimum 5 years sales or sales operation experience with 2 years retail energy experience preferred. Proven track record managing external sales channels.
