Description
Genie Retail Energy, Inc. (GRE) is a subsidiary of Genie Energy, Ltd (NYSE:GNE). Genie Retail conducts business in deregulated retail energy markets, operating retail energy providers (REPs), network marketing and energy brokerage companies, including one of the largest independent REPs in the US. It procures electricity and natural gas from the wholesale commodities markets and resells those commodities to residential, commercial and industrial customers. GRE also offers an array of added-value services including home warranty, personal electronics protection, home security and identity theft protection plans.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prospect, vet, and on-board approved direct sales channel partners (Call Centers & Door-to-door)
• Motivate, Support, Analyze and Manage all aspects of selling GRE Energy Services power and gas products through approved direct sales channel partners
• Establish, manage and nurture business relationships – Travel required
• Be primary point of contact for all direct sales campaigns
• Work with GRE Regional Sales Managers and all direct sales channel partners to ensure sales training is provided to ALL agents and managers in accordance with GREs training program.
• Act as a liaison between direct sales channel partners and other GRE departments (regulatory, compliance, reporting, etc.…)
• Report competitive market intelligence to internally develop, improve and/or recommend a stronger company strategy


Skills
Skills
• College graduate preferred– High School graduate a MUST
• Retail Energy Industry experience a MUST
• Some level of experience in working with Call Centers, Door-to-Door and other Sales Channels
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; Bi-lingual abilities are preferred, but not required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office –
• Ability to adapt to constantly evolving industry demands
• Ability to multitask in a highly competitive goal driven environment.
