Description
CFR is seeking an experienced and driven energy and finance professional to help lead the launch and ongoing operations of a new renewable energy business that will serve medium- and small-size (M&S) businesses and institutions who are attracted to cost-effective LSRE solution but that lie beyond our historic large customer focus. The individual will be tasked with creating and leading a sound financial platform that will enable a successful launch, rapid growth and long term financial success of the new business. The role will encompass a broad range of financial leadership responsibilities including strategy, capital market transactions, investor and board management, debt and equity financing, financial modelling, operations, team management, and accounting and reporting.

Serving the M&S market well requires business model innovations around how customers are cost-effectively accessed and served, as well as how new renewable energy supplies are contracted for and integrated with traditional grid power sources to meet ongoing customer needs. CFR is well-positioned to deliver a new and compelling value proposition to the growing M&S market segment, and strong financial and operating practices will need to be established and maintained to ensure ongoing business success. We need an experienced and creative self-starting finance professional to help make this happen.
