Do you have a proven track record of achieving sales goals in a quota-driven environment? Are you interested in controlling your own income with uncapped commission potential? Do you like meeting new people? Do you like to be compensated for every closed sale? We are a Tier-One, rapidly growing field sales management company whose core principals are based on honesty, transparency and pay-for-performance results. We are searching for highly motivated independent contractors who will fit into our culture.

We know it costs money to attract top talent. To that end, we are paying some of the highest commission rates in the industry today to our ICs.   We are looking for Independent Contractors with 2 – 3 years of energy sales experience. They must be highly motivated, self-driven and energized individuals having sold to medium to large businesses that consume electricity, natural gas and renewables credit. Target clients include hospitals, hotels, colleges, government groups, supermarkets, and local retailers.

The perfect candidate will be self-motivated, comfortable speaking to the public has a current book of business and understands the potential of our open-ended commission sales structure.

The area of focus will include business enrollments consuming 100,000KW + in annual usage in such locations as: hospitals, hotels, colleges, government groups, supermarkets, and local retailers. As a consultant and independent contractor the role is responsible for:

Thorough understanding of the Energy and Natural Gas business products.
B2B daily sales visits in well-defined territory.
Meeting or exceeding daily, monthly & quarterly sales goals.
Daily sales reporting requirements through the company reporting tool.
Execution of well-defined practices and procedures.
Understand, develop and track a pipeline report as building clients and multi-site accounts.
Ability to prioritize opportunities according to potential conversations towards enrollment.
Create professional proposal documents, pitches and presentations.
To understand the needs of a client and develop a technical proposal to meet those needs.
Working to and developing sales processes to ensure continuous improvement.
Take ownership of personal development, setting road-map for learning and career goals.

Self-motivated and driven sales person.
Minimum 3 to 5 years professional work experience, with track record of new business development.
Strong B2B energy or gas sales experience is strongly preferred.
Excellent executive / customer presentation skills.
Ability to communicate with influence and quickly build credible relationships.
Quick study: capable of grasping the structure and intricacies of the energy business and market territories.

Resourcefulness and ability to work with limited supervision.
Flexible and ability to multi-task to meet sales quota deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Must have a tolerance for change as this is an active and fast-paced environment.
Must be motivated, personable, ambitious and able to maintain an optimistic attitude.
Must deliver quality, accurate work within established deadlines.
