Description
APG&E is looking for motivated individuals to develop channel partner relationships and originate sales.

JOB FUNCTIONS
•        Manage and grow new and existing channel partner relationships
•        Achieve and exceed new and renewal sales targets through prospecting and developing new and existing customer and channel partner relationships.
•        Identify and qualify legitimate sales and channel relationship opportunities, providing a consultative and value-added approach to develop relationships.
•        Negotiate contractual terms and conditions, and work with the solutions/operations/implementation teams to ensure smooth handoffs.
•        Maintain a comprehensive understanding of multiple deregulated markets and applicable product offerings.
•        Responsible for day-to-day deal transaction activities and assist in post transaction channel partner support activities.
•        Responsible for implementation of sales and marketing plans consistent with key business objectives.

REQUIREMENTS

•        Strong desire to succeed.

•        High level of persistence and perseverance; ability and willingness to stay the course.
•        Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•        Strong organizational skills with careful attention to detail.
•        Must be self-sufficient and a self-starter with minimal supervision required.
•        Must have the ability to seek out appropriate resources to accomplish tasks at hand.
•        Produce quality work products in a timely manner.
•        Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking is required.
•        Occasional travel is necessary.
•        Ideal candidate will have an established network of channel partners with whom candidate has had a successful track record of closing business.
•        Demonstrated working knowledge of the deregulated electricity industry both in and outside of Texas.
•        Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
•        Open-minded, flexible personality with ability to relate to various personality types and work styles across all retail teams including, but not limited to sales, supply,
          operations and accounting.
•        Ability to meet highest attendance requirements
