OverviewIndra Energy is a leading retail energy company providing electricity, natural gas and renewable energy options to residential and commercial customers across 9 states and almost 60 utility markets.
Indra Energy is currently seeking a Sales Channel Manager to report to the Director of Door to Door Sales to train, monitor and increase the company’s Sales Channel Partners. This role is key to the expansion of services for the Company to pitch Indra Energy’s products to new customers and maintain good working relationship with new contacts.
Location: PA ( only applicants from PA)
Duties:
• Responsible for developing the Retail Channel launch plans in PA – including identifying and securing Retail & Tabletop locations that optimize performance and COA.
• Responsible for recruiting, hiring, and staffing of agents at all locations.
• Responsible for agent performance feedback/development, and engagement.
• Responsible for development and management of an internal Retail sales organization.
• Ensure all sales agents are operating in a compliant manner for all state, federal, municipality, and company rules.
• Manage and deliver the sales training of all sales agents including scripting, sales procedures, regulatory and pricing information, etc.
• Responsible for campaign tracking and reporting
• Monitor daily sale results and performance; and take actions to ensure all key performance metrics and policies are met
• Ensure timely communications with all sales teams when products and pricing are changed
• Performing regular competitive analysis to identify opportunities.
• Meet agreed upon goals (daily, weekly, monthly, annual)
Qualifications:
• Successfully managed Retail sales for an REP for 2+ years.
• Highly resourceful, self-motivated, organized and goal oriented
• Able to build strong relationships with retail owners to support multi location growth across PA.
• Available to freely travel to retail locations for training purposes
• Able to work independently as a remote employee but able to travel for Indra meeting when required
• In contact, daily, with the Director of Sales and Indra Energy staff
• Strong minded and able to facilitate communication with others
Experience required:
• Preferred experience: Energy, Door to Door, Retail (tabletop) sales
• PC proficiency
• Familiarity with CRM Systems
• Energetic & goal driven
• Excellent communication and people skills
• MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Valid Drivers’ License and reliable transportation
