The Supply Analyst will assist the supply team in achieving the reporting goals for multiple brands, markets, and other specified electric and gas portfolios for the company. They will be responsible for analyzing fundamental supply, demand, price components and physical deliveries for all deregulated energy markets.
Success in this role will require effectively communicating market developments and change in policies to senior management as well as troubleshooting problems and providing solutions. The Analyst will support data management, supply operations and analysis.
Assist Supply team with commodity scheduling in the natural gas and electricity markets, where the company serves customers.
Work with Finance, Legal, and other groups to meet company financial and regulatory requirements.
Responsible for daily reporting that enables company leadership to monitor company portfolio performance and risk policy adherence.
Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or other quantitative discipline.
2 to 5 years of previous experience in a commodity risk management environment is a plus
Prior gas experience is a plus.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
High proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Microsoft Excel, and Python.
Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplined, cross-functional and collaborative team environment.
Able to work in a deadline-oriented environment.
High level of communication skills, both verbal and written.
